I love that they tie the pen into the larger story----with the veto thing.
I love this episode. It’s full of everything that makes The West Wing unique. We didn’t have the “lump in your throat” ending, but CJ’s bottle-popping move is akin to Bartlet’s “game on”, which is just as a good an ending IMO. It’s a great signal to us viewers that season 3 is all about the fight.
