Smart writing. They’re clever about how to make the show a full meal. If it was JUST about Toby learning about the MS it wwould have been a completely dark, tense episode.

Toby’s consistently focused on the interests of the PEOPLE. I think that’s also a part of why he has a difficult time showing empathy at work. His thoughts immediately went to the voters and what the voters’ reps would do when the MS came out. This episode really has me pumped for season 3.
