something definitley “off” about Laurie’s character. I think the actress is just so smart and capable that it just isn"t beleiveable that she’d work as a call girl. am i being judgemental?
I don’t think it’s just her portrayal. The whole “law student moonlighting as a hooker” thing doesn’t really work. A smart woman studying law in DC is highly unlikely to choose an unlawful occupation. It’s too much of a stretch, when the rest of the show is so credible.
