The Walking Dead 2x07 Pretty Much Dead Already

What amazes me about this episode is that Shane was batshit crazy AND 100% right. How do they do that? You really see how much Hershall is in denial when they’re “walking” the walkers, everything becomes crystal clear in that moment.

As for Sophia, that was the only possible outcome given the time that had passed. I’m more worried about how it will affect Daryl than Carol at this point. He seemed to have pinned all his hope on the search and it gave him a purpose. He’s less of a loose cannon now, compared to Shane.

I’m glad to hear someone who’s familiar with the comics sound so happy with the show.

The best screen conflicts, it seems, are ones where you can identify with the argument of both parties. Ramp up the intensity and make an understandable (I won’t say “agreeable”, but…) argument come from a character you KNOW you’re not inclined to like, trust, or identify with, and it just gets that much better.

The only person I’m still clearly butting heads with at this point is Herschel, but that’s on a LOT of levels, not necessarily worth soap-box-teetering here.

Dales still an idiot and Shane is a badass

I’m not pleased with Dale’s conduct either. Is he sexually attracted to Andrea? It didn’t seem that way at first, but his hoovering over her now is well beyond “fatherly” concern in my opinion. I can’t give a shout-out for Shane being BA, to me it’s more that’s he’s accepted the state of the new world better and faster than anyone, in sharp to Daryl who is discovering his humanity with all these changes. But if my own ass was on the line, I’d want Shane in my corner. Hopefully I could keep up with him!

You just did your Cartman impression again! lol

I was also furious at the beginning but his later explanation to Maggie that he doesn’t wanna loose her made sense.

I guess your preyers were heard.

That is a very bold theory from you! shuttingmymouthnow

Actually, in this episode I liked Shane the most of all previous Walking Dead episodes!

But then Maggie don’t wanna be with Glenn. Otherwise I wholeheartedly agree.

Nothing big, but in the first 12 issues which have about covered the TV show so far,
Dale has slept with Andrea
and she seemed very happy.
