The producers of the Vampire Diaries are killing me! Why must we wait until the 27th to watch a new episode when it seems like all the other shows are back now?

Man I gave up on this show so long ago, the brothers are allies or something now and the chick wants to be a vampire? idk I saw it in a preview?
