'Tis the season for the obligatory Twilight Zone marathon.
I’m wondering what the hive considers the best episode.
Hears a top ten list (from the eye of this beholder) and a Baltar.
Let the smack down begin.
photo fuish for me between time enough at last and to serve man. but “at last”…that ending is just messed up
I voted for To Serve Man which was based off one of my favorite short stories by Damon Knight, though I didn’t read the story until years later.
Nightmare at 20,000 feet.
Um, Shatner.
To be fair, these are all marvelous episodes. I love To Serve Man, Eye of the Beholder, The Invaders, awww heck, like I said, They’re all great!
ETA: Oh SNAP! You even put Nick of Time on that list!! Shatner, also.
“It’s just not fair”
Burgess Meredith is great in that.
Yeah, I guess there were a ton of short story adaptations. “An occurrence at Owl Creek Bridge” was another good one.
It’s fun to watch Shatner as a young thespian, although he hadn’t developed the staggered speech pattern yet…amateur.
“The Howling Man” (with the monks and the guy who comes in for shelter from the rainstorm) is probably my favorite episode from any TV series ever. I must’ve seen it at least a dozen times and the ending never fails to give me the chills. Hell even just thinking about it gives me the shivers! Definitely #1 for me without contest.
