The true meaning of the Opera House

I was just running this back in my head. We all know the scene, Athena and Roslin Looking for Hera. Then we see Hera with Six and Baltar. Or do we?

This may have been already talked to death but with the last few episodes left i’d thought i would throw it out. We have Athena (cylon) Roslin (human) both represent the end of both lines. Hera (hybrid) is the future. Now instead of Six and Baltar. They are really the Higher intelligences seen by Six and Baltar. They would be the ones taking Hera into this new future.

Ok Ok shoot me now I’m ready.

So you mean the Baltar and Six in the Opera House are really the head characters we’ve seen elsewhere?
Could be. I would say that Head Baltar looks a lot more together mentally than the same ol’ hairy confused Baltar we briefly see in the Opera House. Plus, Head Baltar wears that smashing pinstriped suit! What about the suit?!? :stuck_out_tongue:

TBH I haven’t seen the clip in awhile. But that’s what i’m getting at. What we think we see is not exactly what we see ect ect ect. Yes the put together Baltar is soo much fun to in Cap6’s head.

I have this scary feeling that the six in the vision is actually Caprica Six and that she’s going to literally take Hera - maybe because she’s goes insane over the loss of Baby Liam.

I think this also because
The 8 shown at the end of the preview screaming I think is Athena and not Boomer.
Agreed.
Although it’s not much to go on, I came to that conclusion too because I thought that the guy holding her (or she’s holding) looked more like Helo than Chief (flight suit?). And with the promise of bigger battles to come, I think it is also possible that somehow Caprica could legitimately gain custody of Hera. We don’t know yet what could be in store for Helo and Athena. This Battlestar, afterall, and the odds of the happy family unit surviving together are not in their favor.
I have basically come to the conclusion that whatever the Skiffy preview wants me to think, it’s either very misleading or completely incorrect.

I’ve been on that bandwagon since the beginning, but I’m starting to worry that we’ll run out of time with too many balls in the air. If Hera is what’s next then we need to get down to the business of whiping out most of the skin jobs and more humans. Obviously some faction are going to have to survive to make babies so in a couple thousand years everyone will have some cylon DNA in them, but we don’t have much show left to explain:

Opera House
Cylon Homeworld
Head People
Falling apart BSG
Cavil and his cronies
Where the hell are they going to live? Kobol? A basestar for 1,000 years til erff is habital?
Dying Leader
Starbuck
President Lee
What the hell happens to humanity
Erff (why was it nuked and by whom)
I would add Baltar’s Bitch Brigade, but they’re arming themselves which means they’re going to get dead soon except for Gaiuscockroach

Did I miss anything in my weekly rant???

I jsut had a thought occur to me while I was reading the thread. I may just call this one in as well!

Caprica 6 has just miscarried her baby. What if Caprica kidnaps Hara in her grief over her miscarriage. She takes Hara & tries to get assylum with Baltar. Athena is looking for Hara because, well she’s her mother! Roslin hears about the kidnapping, probably from Athena because of their shared visions. Roslin rushes to try to get Hara back as well because of the visions.

What it all means in the grand scheme of things, I’m not sure. But this is a likely scenario for the scenes we keep seeing.

Edit wanted to add, with Balta’s group armed Caprica running to them with Hara could be a pretty volitile thing! Especially if Head Six gets involved! I doubt she would not be involved!

Click, I’m glad you were able to put alist together, because I’m with you; start giving us real answers so things can blow up alot in the finale!

Miss Muffet and Pan…thanks for your comments regarding Athena. I did not catch that when I watch this week’s promo.

I agree with you, and the other posts, regarding Caprica Six taking Hera due to her anguish of losing Liam.

They better watch out, though; Athena is not going to give up until she has Hera back. Hopefully 4 episodes is enough time.

And I was also thinking that in the vision - Baltar could be Head Baltar. Wouldn’t it be interesting if Caprica starts to see him again because of the trauma of losing the baby and he’s pushing her to take Hera - then with Athena and Roslyn looking for Hera it would complete the picture. We know that the Baltar in the vision isn’t actually Baltar because he didn’t even know he was in the visions until Roslyn told him - all the other participants including Hera were actually experiencing the visions as they happening.

This hadn’t occurred to me. You’re probably right though. I could totally see them doing this and it wouldn’t be an outlandish thing to happen. Personally, I hope they don’t do it as it would be a little boring, but they probably will.
I just hope it is a B story.
I am growing tired of Babystar Galactica.

You guys may be onto something here. That would be out’a left field, making it a reasonable possibility.
I can’t imagine Caprica taking the miscarriage well. That might be how her grief plays out.
That’s hard to believe as we know Caprica had those visions and had them from the perspective of the Six in them.

that Baltar didn’t know, and that the Temple of the 5, per Ellen & Cavil’s talk, is not her doing, then the Head People as the actors in the visions make more sense–but–Roslyn was there, wasn’t she? That the FF are in the vision means much less since E & C’s conversation about it. I get a Beings of Light feel from this Opera House plot line

I think a lot of literal thought is being put into a dream.

I see it much simpler:
Hera is Earth, which is a mix of Cylon and Human.
Everybody is racing towards Earth in real life, towards Hera in teh dream
Everybody wants to get their hands on Earth/Hera.
Nobody wants anybody else to have Earth/Hera.
Baltar and Caprica, don’t seem to know about the vision, but maybe they will stand in the way of anybody getting to Earth. In my opinion, where we can start speculating is what Baltar and Caprica mean in the dream. Baltar is building an Army, and Caprica is likely to have some kind of reaction to losing her baby, so maybe they will form an alliance to take earth for themselves, and whoever wants to follow them. Which will be interesting considering how many people followed Baltar to New Caprica.

Caprica and Baltar do know about the vision - Caprica was having the dreams along with Athena, Roslyn and Hera herself - and Roslyn told Baltar he was in the vision last season (4.0)

I personally think that the Baltar in the vision is Head Baltar.

:frowning: :frowning:

I’m with you. I want the answers now !

What if Caprica 6 had conceived Baltar’s baby during the first sex scene in the miniseries? Then would the baby be resurrected separately? Or still inside Caprica’s womb?

Geez, I would never have thought of that question.
Very sad, but, I think the baby would have been lost.
