well, he is right that he doesnt seem to have anything better to do. 
However, although there were some flaws in Generations…I’d be more agreeable if the review were about Star Trek V and Motion Picture than this one. it wasn’t as awful as he makes it out to be…just not at the level of a Wrath of Khan, Voyage Home or the new Trek flick.
This is brilliant.
I’m only halfway through, but he seems to bleep all the worst language.
I don’t think he really hates it. I think it’s just another method of poking fun at all the “holes”.

I hope he’s poking a little bit of fun at himself, too. ST:G was not a great movie, and was weak for multiple reasons–plot, science, etc. The whole Soran’s rocket complaint is totally valid. But seriously, a half-hour long b*tch session about it?

Also, as an editor, it bugs me that he cuts himself off at the end of each segment instead of checking to make sure he had the whole clip.

Yeah. I hear ya, Stroogie. I think it’s all very Riker-in-beard. It’s voicing the typical response of “fans” ripping it apart. I’ve often scratched my head listening to comments like this and question, “You like the show? Right?” It’s a case of slagging off what you love, a bit too much at times. Good for a laugh.
I’m pretty sure those were intentional, because he is poking fun at himself too (see ‘Dead Wife’ and ‘Bambi’).
Yeah, the first couple times I thought he flubbed his software, but then I realize he did it for effe…

Seconded. This guy is incredibly hilarious, and has (for the most part) some pretty valid points that I never really thought of before.
Do NOT miss his Phantom Menace review, it is absolutely fantastic. He’s working on an Attack of the Clones review right now.

Agreed, the Phantom Menace review is quite good. The whole style really works for me - pretending to be a typical average joe hackjob movie critic, but bringing up really salient points and illustrating them with appropriate clips from the movie.
