Was all that excellent build up of The Silence in the last season was for what?

The Silence will be back. They still haven’t resolved how someone/thing took control of the TARDIS in the series 5 finale, how the Silence are involved with the crack/exploding TARDIS, and what “Silence will fall” means. Plus there’s the whole Amy’s baby/missing time/quasi-TARDIS from the Lodger thing too, not to mention the crazy eyepatch lady. The Silence will most definitely be back.
OK Good. Looking forward for the rest of this season.
