The NeverEnding Story 10/24 @ 10 PM ET

“To the winch, wench!”

“The Sphinxes can see straight into your heart.”

Boobies!

This never would have gotten a PG rating these days.

“A human child? Where can I find one?”

Encroaching evil always needs a human child.

Or least some part of one.

Huh. Falkor’s voice is Alan Oppenheimer, same as Skeletor.

“They look like big, strong hands, don’t they? That’s what I always thought they were.”

So sad. :frowning:

That’s right!! facepalm I knew I knew him from somewhere.

Howdy, stranger!

Gmork was so scary when I was a kid. Less so now.

“Fantasia has no boundaries.”

Yeah. I know.

I’ve had a busy couple of days. I just finished putting new tile down in my kitchen. My hands have glue all over them. It’s annoying.

I’ve had this project hanging over my head for about six months. Back then, my wife said, “Just as long as it’s done by Thanksgiving.” That seem so far off back then. Ugh!

I also stink of glue-gone chemicals.

Scary, and yet, I was sad to see him die. :frowning:

Six months ago, it was. :stuck_out_tongue:

You don’t have to explain procrastination to me, trust me on that.

It’s Alan Oppenheimer’s voice. Creepy. Great performance.

The Ivory Tower floating in space is such a neat effect for a movie this old.

He did the Rock Biter too.

I’m thinking a black blanket was involved. Or some string.

I just watched this recently with my daughters. My eldest really liked the princess. She was impressed that she was young and yet wise. My youngest liked the snail and Rock guy.

“Just as he is sharing all your adventures, others are sharing his.”

OMGs! She’s talking about us!

A witch! A witch!

Yeah. I wonder if he gargled while performing that voice. It’s so rumbling. I also wonder what devices voice actors use to perform so many unique sounds.

The Princess is such a great character. So expressive. Very impressive acting from one so young, although she, like others, gave up acting after this. :frowning:

“Moonchild!”

Definitely a child of the '60s, his mother.
