After seeing this pic, I kinda hope they mess with the form, break the 3rd wall and show the writers, director and actors “coming up with the movie” that they’re in, with the Muppets.
Looks to have the heart, whimsy, reckless abandon, earnest integrity and downright silliness of the original. I can not wait!

That song might just be the Ur song for Segel-Muppets. Earnest, poppy, cute. Slightly outdated but still makes you sing along.

I love all the Muppet trailers. lol I remember when Muppets from Space came out my brother and I had to see it opening day we were so excited. And we were not little kids either both of us were graduated from high school

Such an excellent birthday present to myself it will be.
Finally watched the original Muppet movie with the kds the other night. They were shocked (and so was I) that I could sing all of the songs word for word even though I hadn’t seen it in 10 years or so. Then I rummaged around and found the vinyl I have of the original soundtrac and we had to explain what that was. I totally cannot wait for new muppets and I am now hunting down other Muppet films to enjoy with the kids.mgasp perhaps a Muppet arc is in order
