The Movie Quote Game

Oh, no, I have a head full of useless trivia, trust me. I can tell you how many states (7) have the cardinal as a state bird off the top of my head (Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia). I can outline the Krebs cycle (I won’t do it here… :D. Who needs to know that anyway???). I can say the “f” word in 11 languages. I’m just pants at movie quotes.

Yes, you got it!

I love Time Bandits too.

LOL How about trivia like…the name of Cisco Kid sidekick Pancho’s horse (Loco) or the name of Quickdraw McGraw’s dog (Snuffles)…hehehe. It’s endless the amount of junk our brains store. Mine’s mostly old movies, cartoons and TV shows.

You’re correct. Time Bandits is awesome.

I don’t believe there are any on the go, so…

"Space, you say? Space is a flop. Didn’t you know that? "

Since I got Demon Seed, I offer a new quote. This one should be easy-

“Save the planet. Whenever I’ve read that bumper sticker I’ve had to laugh. Save the planet. What for? And from what? From ourselves? Life’s simple: kill or be killed, don’t get involved and always finish the job. A survivor’s code, my code, and it all sounds great until the day you find yourself confronted by a choice. A choice to make a difference, to help someone, or to walk away and save yourself. I learned something that day: you can’t always walk away. Too bad it was the day I died.”

This is Innerspace! Which for some reason I totally loved as a kid. Along with this movie:

“Colt .45. Semi-automatic. crunch Play-doh.”

But I don’t know Omra’s, despite it being a long one. So, no need to answer my quote if we’re doubling up.

hmm, Coco’s sounds like Superman.

I hear Vin Diesel in my head so I’ll say it’s from Babylon A.D. I know it’s not Pitch Black or Riddick cause he wasn’t out to save anything in those 2.

Short Circuit, Johnny 5? He was always smashing or crushing things.

Yep, it is from Babylon AD.

Woot! I saw that not too long ago from my Netflix queue.

"Look, I hate purity. Hate goodness. I don’t want virtue to exist anywhere. I want everyone corrupt. "

…Gryper gets it! Sorry, Omra.

I love Short Circuit! Johnny 5 would have been a pick for fantasy sf if I didn’t stick with just anime characters.

It’s something englishy and old, and I know I’ve watched this before, but, what the heck is it??

I am trying to decide whether this is Theological or Socialogical…

OK I am going to go socialogical and throw out 1984, my memory is pretty fuzzy but I remember some strong monologues and speeches in there.

I think you’re right. I think Winston’s gf says it.
Extra Credit:
Can you name the George Orwell quote refrenced in the latest cast?

Sean: BOOOOOBS!!!

You are correct!

It was said by Winston himself.

These are all from the same movie-

1: Yeah, well, I’m a victim of circumstance. 2: I thought you called it your pecker.

  1. Why are you taking that vacuum cleaner…you never use it. 2) I like this vacuum cleaner, its good for parts. Besides we might hire ourselves a maid. Hadn’t you thought of that?

We plan ahead, that way we don’t do anything right now. Earl explained it to me.

Tremors yo

She is correct! Well done.

He he. All boobs are equal, but some boobs are more equal than others.

Righty’s a bit bigger than leftie…:o

Try these:

“Hack-em’s Razor. Sounds like some slasher movie.”

“Three dimes, a hundred dollar bill and 87 ones.”

“I have become the monster you were intended to be.”

I used to play this in the old Yahoo Movie Quote chat room!
