there’s this goofy show on AXN Beyond channel that’s like Men-in-Black meets Chuck called the Middleman. But it’s really written from the sidekick, Wendy Watson’s point of view.
I don’t know what to say, except to recommend you guys to watch it!

Some of checked it out when it aired in America. It grew on me. It’s made for pre-teens/teens, but it does its thing well.

Yeah, we have had discussions about this before. It’s based on a comic book of the same title, I believe. We of GWC love the Middlemn, and we love Dub Dub, and I love Lacey. The entire first season has aired already, and I am looking forward to Season 2 very much.
yea, I only realised after I started this thread that others have mentioned about it before. (Doh!) Well, let’s make this thread the one-stop-shop centralized discussion for all things Middleman.
To start with, Middleman has the same structure as The adventures of Sherlock Holmes. According to Dramatica theory, Holmes is the Protagonist who carries the goal of the objective story; or the big picture. However, his sidekick, Dr Watson is the Main character, which, in dramatica-speak, means that we see the subjective story unfolded through Dr Watson’s eyes.
note that they’re both Watson’s in both stories.
