I love how the ents are all unique, almost like racial differences.
I feel bad about rereading stuff right now since I have a pile of about 20 books that I haven’t read yet. I may read them next anyway.

I met the actor, Bruce Hopkins, who plays Gamling. Funny man, he tells some great storys about the filming of these movies.

Now this part of the movie disappointed me. Don’t get me wrong it’s beautifully done. But the battle for Helms Deep was a huge victory for men that they survived fighting alone. For me it took away from that to have the Elves join in the battle.
Is it just me, or are the mannerisms of the Elfkind very… Vulcan?

Not just you…it’s the extremely controlled emotions…and the ears.
I was thinking the exact same thing. The whole story is about men coming into their own and taking charge of the world. And now the elves are still holding their hand.
