Meh. Glass is half empty as far as I can see.

Good lawd that looks fun.

But, I was confused with the Brown Hornet at first. d: Sorry.

I think the Kato character is going to steal the whole movie. Still not sure about Rogen in this though.

Ok! the movie is out now. Lets hear what you think.

I saw the Real 3D™ version.

IMHO - the bad:

The 3D did nothing for me. Although the 1st half of the credits at the end were pretty cool.

I didn’t particularely liked how Britt was portrayed. I do understand that they have to establish the character and I do think that how they did it, it worked.

Kato’s background story was weak as far as I’m concerned.

IMHO - the good:

Special effects were pretty good.

Fights and car chases were a lot of fun to watch.

Action and comedy - a good combination

The Green Hornet car is frickin’ ossamm.

Overall, my wife and I were entertained and enjoyed the movie.

I would recommend it.

I saw TGH last night in 2D (the 3D gives me a headache). Overall, I liked it! Here is my break down:

Good:
[ul]
[li]The car is really awesome! I now want door guns on my truck!
[/li][li]Kato vision rocks!
[/li][li]Good special effects with lots of gratuitous 'esplosions!
[/li][li]I like the dark/campy paradox
[/li][li]Did I mention the car was awesome?
[/li][li]No forced romance between the lead male and female characters. I fully admit that this is a pet peeve of mine.
[/li][li]The villian was conspicuously understated and seeking marketing. I found that absurdly entertaining. Plus he has a gun with 2 barrels.
[/li][li]Good mix of over the top comedy and action.
[/li][/ul]

Bad:
[ul]
[li]The plot was too predictable. My GF called the killer at the funeral.
[/li][li]Cameron Diaz looked tired the whole flick.
[/li][/ul]

Mildy entertaining.

Many of the plot points were weak and at times seemed quite pushed. Did not particularly care for Rogan’s character and wished that EJ Almos would have had more to do, his talent seemed wasted in this effects laden action film.

The villain was more interesting than the hero, and certainly more intelligent.

Lots of explosions and silly action to try and distract you from the fact that there is very little story. And for the most part it worked,

I will never watch it again, once was enough. It will be interesting to see if this mess earns enough box office cache to demand a sequel. I kind of hope not, I would rather watch another Kickass. Or another three Riddick films. Or for that matter even a couple more gratuitous Machete flicks.
