I really enjoyed the fantasy casting cast, so here is a thread to do some of our own!

Let me start things off with a book I love that would be in my mind very difficult to bring to screen, Robert Heinlein’s masterpiece Stranger In A Strange Land.

OK. Here’s my stab.

I’ve been wanting a Foundation movie or TV Series. I think it could be done via a Creepshow or Twilight Zone movie style, ensemble cast, chapter-based.

How about a potential Justice League movie? I don’t know enough about the comics to know what the primary members of the League are there, but here’s who it was in the animated series and who I’d cast in the roles.

Superman - Tom Welling
Batman - Christian Bale
Wonder Woman - Morena Baccarin
The Flash - Zach Levi
Martian Manhunter - Phil Morris or Lawrence Fishburn
Green Lantern - Haven’t figured this one out yet. Not really a fan of Ryan Reynolds as Hal, and probably need a more serious person as a straight man for Flash’s comedy
Hawkgirl - This one either

Haven’t decided on the villain, but do whoever you want. I’m thinking either Brainiac or Vandal Savage, since they’re both pretty powerful and not ones that have been done in movies before.

How about casting the On Baslisk Station (Honor Harrington) movie?

I’ve seen a bunch of ideas on it on the David Weber forum, but none’s really clicked yet. Either too short, or no command presence, or not young enough to account for Prolong.

This can be a difficult one to cast, as the characters are supposed to look a lot younger than the age they are given.

I’ve left a few gaps, it’s the really young people (Scotty, Rafe etc.) that I have the most difficulty with
