You’ve got that right. I’m wondering how ED2 measures up after all these years, considering its significantly larger budget.
Another thing: Reproduction quality of this DVD is really remarkable. I don’t know if they re-balanced the color for the DVD, but color is really amazing, too.
I noticed that too. I thought it just seemed more vibrant, since I only watched a dubbed VHS back in college…
When I was at the video store for this, there was a old classic cult movies only available on VHS section. That’s when I realized that (a) oh my god, I don’t even own a VHS player! (b) it hasn’t even occured to me that I don’t own a VHS player, in like 8 years. It has been that long since I needed one.
I have one, although I’m pretty sure I haven’t used it in at least that long. I’m not even sure it still works.
