yes rocks out
This isn’t a new song at all, but I’ve been listening to I-95by Fountains of Wayne a whole lot lately. Such a nice song. It reminds me that I-95 can be used to trace 90% of my life and that if I ever really, really need my momma or any of the people I love, I just have to steal a car, hop on 95, and drive South for 9 hours or North for 8.
Sample of lyrics:
Constellations are blinking in the sky
The road is open wide
And it feels so cinematic
'Til a van
Driven by an elder gentleman
Cuts right in front of me
From then on that’s all I see

There’s a line from the Crash Test Dummies song God Shuffled His Feet:
And if your eye got poked out in this life
Would it be waiting up in heaven with your wife?
Sound like a certain Colonel we know and love?
You know, I just have to throw this one out there:
The original series Battlestar theme.
Cool. There was something so awesome about that theme music kicking in right after this bit of narration:

Totally agreed. I am sitting here at work alternating between completing stuff and posting on the boards. In the background I have set my Ipod to play all classical music flagged as 5 stars. At the moment I jumped onto the forum 20 minutes ago the theme kicked off. It was sweet…which is why I posted in this thread.
It will always be one of my favorite pieces of theme music.
Summer Nights by Van Halen
(hey, I need something to get me through this frakking cold period we’re experience in the middle of May!)
“To be treated” by Terry Reid
Very nice. Very, very nice…
I love their version of “Dirty Water”.
It’s my ringtone on my phone that I use as my alarm every day.
Re-imagining the re-imagined BSG theme. Super dorky but I kinda wish I’d done it.
A little Blues, little rock, a lot of fun
Nothing better to get you though a bad day.
Redneck Gigolo by Charles Terrell
I’ve been listening to various mixes of my latest BSG song Capital B and tweaking it up to releasing it last night, so my preferences have been swaying to NiN music as of late.
