Check out Bone. I have only read the first three volumes but it is a really cool book.
I haven’t read any Elektra. If you like Batman you’ll definitely like Daredevil.
Oh yeah. I LIKE Batman. I’m currently considering buying the “Batman: The Complete History” in hardcover. That’s how much I like Batman. It’s a lot of dough, though. But I’m figuring it may be the only coffee table book I’ll ever own, so I might as well go for the hardcover. Maybe I should wait until I actually own a coffee table? And a living room?
Hey Forum People
Anyone who is looking for any classic Marvel Comics lines some titles are available on DVD-ROMS. So far, Marvel has released Spider-man, X-Men, Fantastic Four, Captain America and a few others that are newer comic titles. So you get 30-40 years of comic books collected for about $40 each.
Also, there is a Firefly comic that is currently being written by Joss Whedon.
I’ll try to see if I can dig up anything else up from my local comic book store. I’m off to read my new comics for this week. The only cool thing about Wednesdays.

Batman: The Animated Series hinted at how cool a darker animated Batman could be, but it was still aimed at the kids.
So I can’t wait for this new Batman anime style animated anthology called Batman: Gotham Knight.
It’s been produced as a tie-in to the new film, similarly to The Animatrix. Can’t wait to see the different director’s takes on the Dark Knight.
OOH! Shiny!
That’s right, not only does Tori have a 12-inch cock, she has a comic book!
I had no idea who or what this Tori person was, but that got me interested. Who would have a need for such a tiny rooster?
Has anyon read the Galactica series from Dynamite Comics?
I started reading some during the long wait between seasons. It wasn’t spectacular, but they introduced a really cool idea:
In one arc, Galactica stumbles upon a fleet of “Pre Rebellion” Cylon Centurions, which are still loyal to the humans. They look exactly like the classic “man-in-suit” centurions, and obey human commands. Galactica uses them to fight the current centurions.
Cool idea.
Are you referring to “Season Zero”?
I have a really hard time obtaining those issues, they haven’t been collected in a paperback, right?
It’s not “Season Zero”
But I can’t remember the name off hand.
But I have it collected in paperback. I think it takes place in season 2.
I’ll look up the name and post it when I get home.
The book was just called
“Battlestar Galactica” Vol 1.

Volume 2 just came out as well.
I really don’t like the art, but the writer had some good ideas.
Yes. She is one of the main characters in “The Man without fear” series. FYI, there is a huge Millers Elektra Omnibus coming out this summer. I am definitely going to get it.
Awesome! Is there a preview link for this on amazon yet? Because I was gonna buy Elektra: Assassin, but if it’s included in the omnibus, I’ll probably wait for the omnibus.
Here is the link, and yes it has the story you were talking about. Bad news: it’s not coming out untill the fall now. I am still going to wait for it though as the Preacher series is keeping me entertained.
Thanks for the link. We’ll see if I can wait until November.
I just recently finished Bone, and its pretty good. It’s sort of a light hearted—yet at time serious—take on LOTR. I would recommend it to anyone.
I recently finished MAUS. I still don’t know what I should feel about it, it was so powerful.
Anyone read/reading the Fables series? I have a “Jack of the Fables” book here, but I haven’t started it yet.
I also ordered on old James Bond comic from Dark Horse, “Serpent Tooth” and I saw that Titan is re-issuing a lot of their older Bond strips which could be like the total El Dorado for me, being a huge Bond fan, especially of the Moore-era.
Anybody read the Firefly graphic novel? Ive been considering a buy
I read the Serenity: Those Left Behind paperback and yes, it was awesome, but far too short in my opinion, but well, it’s MORE Firefly, so who am I to complain.
Can’t say anything about Better Days yet, though
I live in Northeast Ohio too and if the Hellmouth isn’t in my town, then it’s at least a Hellpothole on the way to Cleveland.
I’m rather new to the comicbook scene, but I have a few things to offer up to those interested. All the files I uploaded can be viewed using CDisplay

I’m also posting the current issues of Fell because I’m engrossed in the series written by Warren Ellis and illustrated by Ben Templesmith. I love the concept of the nine panels in the beginning of the series and the evolution. There are only 9 issues and a soon to be published issue 10. The issues have self-contained storylines, while still having background ongoing themes. It focuses on Richard Fell, a homicide detective reassigned to Snowtown, which is has the look of an inner city and the feel of a third-world country. The art is so beautiful. Ben Templesmith is amazing. He has this odd mix of cartoon-y European style, which I love. It’s almost like Scott Morse’s lines and shape had a baby with Ted McKeever’s tone and value.
Seriously, I need to know what the frak is going on with the nun.
