“We’re all pretty bizarre. Some of us are just better at hiding it, that’s all.”

Watch online at Netflix.

Also currently available as a “free” movie on Comcast On Demand.

Emilio Estevez was originally going to play Bender, but Hughes couldn’t find someone to play Andrew Clark so Emilio agreed to play Clark.

That would have been interesting.

Molly Ringwald really wanted to play Allison but Ally Sheedy had already been promised the part.

I can’t see that.

Anthony Michael Hall’s mother and younger sister play his character Brian’s mother and sister in the movie.

giggle That’s great.

Starting at :15, just in case we’ve got some newbies.

Just saw Judd Nelson in ‘Boondock Saints 2’. Everytime he yelled I thot of this movie.

This is the epitome of the 80s.

The soundtrack nails it.

“Hey hey hey heeeey!”…

'talos sings Don’t you…Forget about me.

first time seeing this for me…

John Hughes magic is that he spoke to teens with the complexity those years deserve.

Personally, I thot that was terrible casting. Judd Nelson as an Italian mobster? WTF?

Shit! Just noticed ‘Carl Reed’ (the janitor) was “Man of the Year” on that plaque.

“I can’t believe you can’t get me out of this.”

Awww, sorry Princess.

Says so much.

My high school class president may not be a janitor, but he’s not far from it.

Me too. It was laughable.

wow. a card catalogue. I remember those

“Emilio!!!”

Shit just almost sorta in time a bit

Alright, let’s get this out of the way.

Who are you in this film?

I’m Principal Richard Vernon. I’m a dick.

Actually, I’m a mix of Brian and Allison.
