They’re doing a remake of The Andromeda Strain?
Now, I had problems with the original movie. Heck, I had problems with the original book. There are a few things in there that don’t make sense and at least one mistake that, as a doctor, Crichton should have known better than making. (Actually, I have problems with most of Crichton’s work, but we won’t go there.) On the other hand, I never felt that the movie needed a remake either.
It looks like we’ll have a bunch of good-looking scientists spouting stuff that sounds impressive but doesn’t make any sense. I don’t mind technobabble, I just wish they wouldn’t spout it while trying to be “realistic”.
Anyone know anything about this one?
