Finally got around to watching this movie over the weekend and I enjoyed it. Unfortunately I enjoyed it as an action movie and not as a sequel to T2. That chud.com article points the finger at Bale but I think he should have forced a complete rework with him as the star. Maybe its the fanboy in me but why couldn’t they just make the film fans (at least the ones I have talked to) all wanted, namely, badass future John Connor leading the resistance against the machines. Instead hes little more than a voiceover in a plot so ridiculous that I had to pretend there wasnt any at all in order to enjoy it.
To all the big money investors out there: give me a 100$ million dollars and total creative control and I will make the Terminator film everyone deserves to see. That is all.
Things I liked a lot:
Moon Bloodgood
Scary blockhead Terminators
Things I didnt like so much:
Moto-Terminators(great design, stupid name)
Labs with no security
