written by Timothy Zahn of Star Wars novel fame.
It is billed on the cover as the official movie prequal to Salvation.
It says on the back cover “This is the story you must read before the brand new movie hits the theatres”.
I am a chapter in and like it so far.

I have the Movie Novelization, but haven’t started reading it yet.
I started the Movie Novelization and it is pretty close to the movie. The first chapter left out one important point though… If you want to know what it is, let me know and I will say.
