did they use cellphones in the Colonies? The knuckledraggers sure had tablet pc’s to work with. 
I think they did. The civilian tech was pretty advanced.
I don’t have it handy, but I believe there is someone talking on a cellphone when Laura sees Baltar with Six before Caprica was nuked. I will try to find it later and confirm.
