Oh, noes. It looks like they’re going to try to retc…I mean explain everything the Cylons did during the course of the series, up to and including :33. I’m excited to see this movie, but I hope it doesn’t suck the mystery out of everything. Part of the greatness of :33 is having no clue how or why the Cylons are following the fleet.

I’m not fundamentally against retconning. I’m against BAD retconning. If you can make it work and help hold up the logic of the show, my hat’s fof to you. If you’re just going to muck it up, leave it to the fans to make up themselves.
it meshes well and isn’t just a pasted together, flashback/clipshow sort of thing (Y’know, cylons in the living room, drinking coffee saying “I remember when…” insert dissolve, everyone replies “That was a sticky situation!” etc.) it’ll do.
I have high hopes for this…
