Never saw that version of Bad News Bears but that John Connor never did anything more than hand the gun to someone else to protect him. (If memory serves)
So I’m guessing he can’t fight well yet.
Conner was a poser whose only skills were hacking an ATM, playing a video game, and hanging out with a Ginger kid (which we know makes him kinda lame) :p. Sure he eventually turned into Christian Bale and Batman but when he was young he was a putz.
Kelly smoked, drank, defied all authority, was the star pitcher, rode his bike with authority. But he eventually became Rorschach and had the balls to tell Dr. Mantattan to go Frak himself then after he got exploded he became Freddy Kruger.
