Correction. :40 it is. See you in 3!
so Angel enjoys sexual frustration. good thing
Doesn’t that just add to the character’s appeal? To female viewership I mean?
I suppose. there sure were a lot of Twilight tweens & moms at SDCC
Part of the whole brooding personality is the whole sexual frustration thing. It does make every girl think… “maybe I am just the one to make him happy.” It brings out the “Rescue The Badboy” instinct in women.
sounds like you’ve been giving this a lot of thot. perfecting that broody nature, are we?
Yes, I am trying to figure out what I am doing wrong. When I perfect that brooding personality, watch out, ladies!
this Wesley is absolutely unrecognizable from the one we love in Angel
And substantial portion of the male viewership, as well.
Of course, making that particular badboy happy unleashes the really, really badboy that will probably kill them, so that’s a fairly suicidal instinct.
And yet, the evolution was well-handled. He was a big dork that gradually grew into the dark Marlboro Man we know and love.
You know all those women who like imprisoned serial-killers? You should tell them that.
I really want to skip ahead and watch the last seasons of both these shows. I am not a patient person
True, but Angelus puts any mortal serial killer to shame. He wouldn’t just kill them, he’d kill their family, friends, and pets. And possibly destroy the world in the process.
why waste your breath trying to convince fools of their folly?
Patience, young padawan. There are so many gems that we’d miss along the way.
Angel in the wifebeater, for instance.
As much as I’d love to join you, that would mean that I have to see Conor again. No, thanks.
(And, Illyria. That makes me sad.)
I think Faith is the only role Eliza Dushku is really suited for. she’s my least favorite part of Dollhouse
It just doesn’t seem right without the Muo-Ping.
oh, I know. I’ll wait. well, maybe I’ll wait
Fred’s death
is brutal, but I love Illyria
I feel like there’s more acting talent in her than we’re seeing… but Dollhouse is not the right show to bring it out of her.
