Superman won’t give up.
He does it. He kills the machine.
The sun heals Superman.
Zod and Superman fight.
Zod:
If you destroy this ship, you destroy Krypton.
Superman:
Krypton had its chance
Death and destruction everywhere in Metropolis.
The Colonel:
A good death is its own reward.
Superman again saves a falling Lois.
Superman saved humanity.
But Zod is still alive.
Zod is a monster. He intends to kill every last human on earth.
Love the “LexCorp” sign on the fuel tanks.
Superman can’t seem to defeat Zod, they’re too evenly matched.
Now they’re fighting in space.
Superman tries to stop Zod from incinerating some civilians.
And the only way he can stop him is by killing Zod.
He kills Zod.
But Superman does not kill.
What a profound departure from the character.
Justified, but nonetheless very shocking.
Clark is devastated.
He knows he had to kill Zod to save humanity and Earth,
but he feels the weight of it.
This is what makes Superman superman.
Superman announces to the world he is here to help, but on his own terms.
Yes, Superman is hot.
Clark visits his Dad’s grave - Jonathan Clark, the man who taught him to be a good man.
So, Clark takes a job at the Daily Planet, glasses and all.
No one can recognize Superman with glasses on, right.?
