This flying scene is beautiful.
Kal is full of joy and hope.
While Kal practices his powers.
Lois is on the hunt to track down the mysterious stranger.
Lois is a good investigator.
She tracks down the Kent family farm.
Then Clark finds Lois.
There is a struggle within Clark between his father’s (Jonathan Clark) belief, that if the world were to know about Clark, he would be rejected out of fear. And Clark’s desire to be himself.
Clark says he will disappear again if Lois continues to persue him.
Lois:
“The only way you could disappear, is to stop helping people altogether,
and I sense that’s not an option for you.”
Damn straight - he’s Superman!
Flashback
Kansas. Tornado.
Jonathan Clark won’t allow Clark to save him.
Jonathan Clark dies.
This Lois is willing to drop the story.
I sure like this Lois so much better than ALL the rest.
She actually has some maturity.
Nice scene between Clark and his mother.
The family farm is looking a bit run-down. It needs paint and some repairs.
So Clark, get on it.
General Swanwick. Now that’s quite a fruit salad on his chest!
A ship is coming.
Someone is tracking Kal-El.
Zod “You are not alone”
General Zod demands that Kal’El be turned over to Zod, or suffer the consequences.
FBI are now after Lois Lane for the info she has.
Another flashback
A high school aged Clark being bullied by football player-types.
He doesn’t fight back.
Jonathan Clark talks to him. He is a good and wise father.
Clark feels Zod can’t be trusted,
but he doesn’t know if the people of earth can be trusted either.
Kal surrenders to Gen. Swanwick.

Lois"
Why are you surrendering to Zod?
Kal:
I’m surrendering to mankind. There’s a difference.
