I have kind of soured lately on movies whose appeal ratio is less plotty than 70% aesthetic :: 30% plot. So what is the glimmer of a story that might be in there?

ahhhh… God Bless you Zack Synder for making this film.
Maybe the level of thespian-ism won’t be as much of a factor in this flick, but I wish Snyder would use a co-director to handle the acting part of his movies.
But with this flick, it seems like the entire point is to look awesome.

Saw it, Liked it, want to see it again. filled to the brim with stuff I love, the end good the fights good, there was something off though, and I can’t place it. Still well worth your time.

The scenes with the dragon et al were amazing though. Wish I could see them on the big screen or on a bigger HDTV. d: Not sure I’ll buy it because of previously stated hopes that were dashed.
