It is moderated. We keep waiting for common decency and common sense to step in. I can’t believe it has gone this far. For the most part people have been smart enough to not post something that would offend…surprising really given most other forums.
Things have not been edited because it would go against the spirit of the forum. We trust each other here, there has never been a need to start trimming posts…I truly hope it doesn’t begin now.
I think it would be wise to remember that we have at least one regular poster who is pre-teen. yes, kids can get their hands on inappropriate material, but they don’t have to get it here.
We’re well aware of that. It’s a fine balance to strike, but so far this group has managed to occasionally teeter over the line without quite falling off it.

Actually, if recent posts are any indication, perhaps that spirit is alive and well. We saw something that is perhaps over the line, and we put the breaks on, and after a minor soul-searching, we backtracked a little bit. That is exactly how it’s supposed work, isn’t it? (Thanks, DawnAZ et al, for being the voice of reason)
This thread is obviously for miscellaneous naughtiness, but it’s NOT for out and out distastefulness… We can be very, very naughty without being offensive, but everyone’s taste is different and is clearly subjective… It takes only one of us to find something over the line before we all have to pull back a little. That’s my take on this.
Just as a side note… should there be a “under 18” warning on this thread?
I’m not sure that’s warranted. I mean, so far, we haven’t seen anything that you couldn’t find in GQ or Cosmo (with a notable exception). the innuendo has run rampant, but–I don’t know, is that splitting hairs?
