I’m gonna spend the next 90 minutes showing you I can solve all of your problems with my penis.
I’ve been the last 2 years, and it’s kicked a$$ both times. Last year:
- Got to see the Owl ship up close
- Saw the season premieres of SG Atlantis and Eureka before it was on TV
- Actually got into the room where Joss Whedon and Cast introduced the first full-length showing of Dr Horrible,
- Saw the Dollhouse panel with Joss, Eliza, and Tahmoh,
- Saw the BSG panel moderated by Kevin Smith
- Saw the Doctor Who panel w/Russell T Davies
- Missed theonering.net’s talk on The Hobbit movie
… and Kevin Smith as moderator on the BSG panel was awesome… at the end of the panel, there was a group of guys chanting, “So Say We All!” Now where else could you actually yell that and not have people think you’re crazy?
If you intend to go, you better buy your tickets… I just went on the site, and the 4 days are almost sold out.
Think of how good the BSG panel is gonna be… the series ends… The Plan in June… a month later, Comic-con! I’m not missing that panel even if I don’t get a hotel room… I will make the trip from LA-SD-LA all in one day, or sleep in the car if I have to. And what makes it better, production on Caprica starts this summer… so maybe RDM will bring footage!

I’d be tempted…save I hear that Sweat Shop hours are horrendous! That and the communal living in the basement takes the shine off a bit.
