You know who I feel the most bad for? The dude behind them with the 'stache. He had a lifelong dream to be an actor, appear on television. He finally gets his big break…calls all of his friends and family and tells them “I am going to be on an episode of Battlestar Galactica!” Everyone gets excited. He goes down to film and gets told to report to costuming…at which point they hand him the outfit.
“Wha…?” he asks.
“Put it on.” the costumer replies.
“Erm, no.” He states while trying to hand it back, “Can’t I wear something else?”
“No. Put it on or you are fired.”
So, he sucks up his dignity and puts it on. They film and he tries to avoid getting his face caught on camera. He has already made up a story to tell everyone that he didn’t actually get on the program. The program airs and suddenly people stop taking his calls…his brothers taunt him mercilessly and his kids can’t stop laughing. On a lighter note his brief celebrity gets him a permanent gig as a local car dealership spokesman. The only bad news is that he has to wear that costume for each commercial.
