I already have.
I’ll make the thread for ‘In Harm’s Way’.

Yeah, it’s really well-done. I especially liked the Ming the Merciless look of the main Klingon.
Now you’re just making me curious.
Could we start at 8 and do more than one?
I’m cool with that. Pike?
It’s called “Come What May” Good luck finding the entire thing.

Yeah, tack on To Serve All My Days. It’s got Koenig in it.
I’m intrigued by this.
The only fan-made Star Trek I’ve seen is New Voyages.
Badger and Talos, I take it this is the first time you’ve seen Exeter? Can you summarize for me what you thot of it?
And, Pike, I know you’ve seen both Exeter and New Voyages, can you tell me how they compare?
Exeter has the look and feel of TOS nailed. It’s eerie.
New Voyages (aka Phase II) doesn’t really try to imitate TOS closely. Which is odd since they follow the original crew. They’ve managed to leverage their project with contributions (and appearances) from Hollywood pros. (Cawley, in turn, cameoed in NuTrek.)
Oh, and they don’t like each other, for reasons that elude me.
Like Pike said, Exeter really captures the mood and feel of TOS. I liked that they had action/fight scenes. The acting and writing is what you would expect. The production (makeup, sets, costumes) was very well done for at home budget.
Creative types, UGH!
BTW, did the Exeter bunch build a bridge set as well? I know the New Voyages peeps did. Are they using the same set?
Only New Voyages has a full bridge set (built from the original construction plans.) The others use partial sets and/or green screens. AFAIK, only Farragut has used NV’s bridge. (And NV has used Farragut’s phaser rifle.)
Interesting. New Voyages is so very authentic in terms of uniforms, sets and props. I’ll have to check out Exeter I guess to understand what you mean when you say Exeter imitates TOS more closely than New Voyages.
Do you know where Cawley’s cameo is in NuTrek? Deleted scenes maybe?
Thanks for your sum-up. I’m excited to give Exeter a watch. Do they make any reference to Captain Tracy at all—the former Captain of the USS Exeter from “The Omega Glory”?
Okay, I have a question for you Pike cuz I know you’ve seen the New Voyages episodes. Spoiler tags for those that haven’t yet.
So tell me if I confused or not. I thot that Chekov dies at the end of “To Serve All My Days.” When then is Chekov back again in “Blood and Fire”? Or am I missing something?

Let’s just say that…
…they didn’t stress over continuity on that one.
Forgot to answer this part:
IIUC, Cawley is on the bridge of the Enterprise at some point. I haven’t spotted him yet. (I thought he was in the cadet assembly at first, so I didn’t even try to find him.)
NV is more willing to take liberties with things. Their effects, while good, don’t really look like what you saw in the sixties, for example. Plus they see themselves as bridging the gap b/t TOS and TMP (hence their new ‘Phase II’ moniker,) so you start to see more movie stuff showing up as they go along.
