SG-1 and SGA are agnostic in tone generally. The Ascended Ancients and the Ori are certainly about as close to literal gods as anything you’ll ever see in sci-fi. But if I’m understanding what Rush is getting at, he’s talking about actual technology that preceded — and may even have caused — the Big Bang. Ultimately, exactly what the difference between “godlike aliens” and actual gods depends on one’s own theological point of view.
