But at least in what I’ve seen of both SG-1 and SG-A the narrative has never really accepted the idea of these figures as superior/divine. Rush’s babbling sounded much more mystical (I can’t escape the word Baltaresque) than anything I’ve seen so far. That said, I’m not through all of the series yet, either.
