A side benefit of getting cable for the WC… I have Syfy until we cancel cable after the WC
Speaking of which, what was up with the dung beetle?
oh Badger…
No, seriously? The underlying message I got from it was that soccer is a big ball of crap.
LOL!
And there goes a redshirt (I think?)
At least he had a name.
Briefly.
So these Lucian Alliance people are threatening, but not too threatening. Having not watched more than a spare episode here or there of any of the Stargate series besides SG:U, should I be more afraid?
I don’t know. The Lucian Alliance was sort of an ill-defined menace in SG-1.
They moved in to the power vacuum left by the Goa’uld. At best, they seemed like rebels who carved out their own fiefdoms after a coup.
Since my concept of what the Goa’uld was is hazy at best… I’ll watching SG-1 and SG-A eventually.
I just got in.
So, bets: Standoff finished at the end of this episode, or goes into next season, or stand off ends but Cloe finds something else on the ship that is a cliff hanger for next season.
I have to say I wasn’t a huge fan of Lt. Johansen at the start but she’s now one of my favorites. Stare the enemy down
The Goa’uld were snake-like aliens that could possess a human body parasitically. Using their natural healing abilities and stolen technologies, they convinced less advanced races that they were gods and ruled a sizeable portion of the galaxy.
I definitely recommend checking out the other series. Just be aware that the tone of both shows is wildly different than this one.
yeah from the episodes of the others I’ve seen… and the griping I’ve read about this series (which I quite like, at that), I wouldn’t be surprised that they’re different
Eli is so my generation. LOL
I’m definitely thinking that Chloë and Eli are going to find something…
uh.
I typed that too slowly.
Wow, Kiva is such a bitch (in a good way). I never thought of using the dead guy as one of the four.
The writers wouldn’t have sent Chloe and Eli off unless they are going to find something.
The question is: Do they find something that helps this problem or starts the next problem?
Maybe both.
And there’s a mysterious new console we’ve never seen before…
