“Dr. Jackson, if you don’t mind treating my wound.”
“I’m an archaeologist”
"I know, but you’re also a doctor.
“Of archaeology.”

Before this starts, does anybody know why the episode is called “Deadman Switch”? I know what a deadman switch is, but I can’t even see a figurative one in this episode.
Been a while since I watched it, but maybe the virus the Goa’uld infected the hunter’s people with? Would kill them all if they overthrew the Goa’uld
I might be a bit late. Feel free to start without me.
Huh, the planet looks like a Vancouver forest. Never would have guessed that.
And the tail’s twisted too.
“Found something.”
“Well fancy that… we’re famous.”
Nice try, Jack.
Actually that makes sense. Don’t know why I didn’t see it before.
Sadly, can’t watch tonight (or most Saturdays, obviously), but I do have this tidbit to add:
This is the first episode of the series where they never show the Stargate on screen.
Why didn’t he have them drop their gear with their weapons?
First appearance of a Tel’tak (outside CotG Final Cut at least) too.
And the cloaking device pretty much becomes standard too. I thought it might have been specifically an upgrade for his ship.
And ship speeds got vastly upgraded pretty quick after this too.
Great bit. I was glad it was on Stargate Wiki so I could put it in the original post.
Ugly yellow blood there.
“You’re a pain in the mikta.”
“Neck?”
“No.”
Love this guy. Really wish they’d had him show up more.
Leaving Sam and Teal’c on the ship? Really bad idea.
Love the Zat gun bit too.
And Jack’s obvious first instinct.
I love how this guy bounces off Jack. Not quite up there with Maybourne, but close.
I forgot that bit about his son. Really nice touch.
