Shame the role they made for Richard Kind in the TV shows was so unpopular. Probably the least liked in the franchise, actually.

I prefer RDA for Jack though.
He’s a much more fun character. OTOH, this Jack just recently lost his son. SG-1 Jack had a few years to come to terms with it.

Loved that they reused the dialing program in SG-1. Devlin actually mentioned that in the commentary before running down the show.
They never replicated the effect like that in the series did they? Seems more awesome here.

I like the idea of tracking the probe in real time through space.
Of course, it’s completely at odds with established wormhole physics from the series.
Not to mention the implication that it reached another galaxy.
How are they tracking it?
