Ahhhhhhhhh!!! OMG-We are one step closer to the release of the sequel to the greatest game ever. Please choose me!
omg… it does look just like the old star craft… so cool
I have a friend whos played like half a dozen betas but I have never, not once been chosen.
If I could beta SC2 I think I would lose it, turn into a feral savage with a computer and an internet connection, grow a 2ft beard etc. It wouldnt be pretty but it would be awesome with a capital A.
It’s never too late to sign up for the beta. Only a fraction of those who sign up for betas will respond if chosen and participate. Many of those quit long before a beta ends. The beta pool grows week after week to replace the no shows and the quitters (and to stress test the servers). I don’t suppose even Starcraft will be an exception. At worst, you’ll get a key two short weeks before the beta ends. Good luck!
Since the open of StarCraft II Beta, there has been some professional invitational cups going around.
The finals of PLU.cn Kaspersky Cup between the Taiwanese players Sen and German player thelittleone are pretty amazing.
This is the second part (out of 3) of game 6 (out of 7) of their match.

They really made this game fun to watch.
I watched the conclusion too.

The commentator really made the game exciting to watch.
yeah, HD is a great commentator. He really was able to analyze how things happening on the map will translate to later game play.
There are 7 games between Sen and TLO, and they are all in HD’s youtube channel. It is pretty amazing from game one.
TLO is very very creative but Sen somehow can take the harassment and use micro skills to win out. I think TLO is a tactician and Sen is a strategist. But even though Sen eventually won out, TLO’s unorthodox tactics made the game full of surprises.
If you are a Starcraft player, you will have a kick out of watching this 4v4
It’s just part one, you can find the part 2, it’s very outrageous and fun.
Wow. I was partial to protoss carriers in the original. But, dang…
me too… being such a noob-like player, i always go for the mass zealots/dragon + pylon canons in the early game to block up enemy entrance, and then go for the carrier arbiter build…

There’s an event going on at the official website. If you complete a orientation exam and something else, it will help you unlock hidden content of the upcoming game.
I took the exam, and I am recommended to be an Thor Pilot…
What better way to satisfy your borderline psychotic thirst for destruction than in the comfy pilot seat of one of the Dominion’s most powerful weapons to date: the Thor!
THOR IS HERE!
Anyone need something blown up?
Either we think alike or the website creators are lazy.
You Have Been Chosen To Become a: Thor Pilot
The Dominion military is always in search of brilliant individuals capable of formulating complex battle strategies. You are not one of these people. But if there’s one thing we’ve learned over the years, it’s that sometimes you just need someone who likes to smash things. From your test results, you’re a perfect fit for this role. What better way to satisfy your borderline psychotic thirst for destruction than in the comfy pilot seat of one of the Dominion’s most powerful weapons to date: the Thor! With this neosteel behemoth at your command, you’ll be given free rein to obliterate as many of our enemies’ air and ground forces as your uncaring little heart desires. Leave any notions of finesse behind you – if you had any in the first place – and report to the nearest recruitment center on Korhal IV immediately.
I’ve went back and tried some other answers. If you whimp through every question, you will end up piloting SCV.
I also got Firebot once.
I have yet to figure out how to be a Battlecruiser Admiral.
Metal Slug - SC2
This is just fraking ossim. It looks more fun than the actual Starcraft :P, more fun than original Metal Slug definately. Just shows what a great engine can do. It looks amazing.
Starcraft Metal Slug part 2
