Starbuck will play the Joe's Bar piano next episode 4 sure, what R your predictions?

I have to confess that this post is just a front for my real theory that the Dress Barn store for woman’s clothing is at the root of the real truth of BSG mythology. From the Dress Barn Website:

“In 1962 Roslyn Jaffe, mother of three, opened the first dressbarn store in Stamford, Connecticut. At a time when women were wholly underrepresented in the workplace, Roslyn dared not only to work, but also to launch a new era in women’s fashion. Designer label wool pencil skirts, sheer blouses, flares, furs, and leather coats were all the rage. And Roslyn offered her customers the very latest in women’s designer styles.”

Laura Roslin-Roslyn Jaffe - Think about it!

PINK POWER!!!

Jaffe was the name of that guy killed in the CIC at the beginning of the mutiny…

exactly!!!

OH. MY. GODS!

This has all been one four-year long commercial, hasn’t it?

For the record: I predict next week’s episode will be four hours long, with 3.5 of those hours devoted to a performance of Starbuck’s avant garde improvisational piano composition “Profound Etude no. 63.”

Headline for next Saturday: BSG experiences EXTREME drop in ratings.

Hahaha, baconpie that’s funny.:stuck_out_tongue:

But you’re post actually got me thinking…could we tell if anyone else heard the piano? When Starbuck asked when they got the piano I don’t recall anyone answering at all.
Hmmmm.

I’m pretty sure I saw a piano guy in the background, but he might have been a waiter.

Poor Starbuck. She hasn’t had anyone to kill in days, if not weeks, and with her husband apparently brain-dead, she’s got a lot of stress built up. No wonder she’s hearing things.

Methinks I spotted a certain Mr Bear McCreary tinkling the ivories behind Starbuck!

Head Bear? If his cameo means another head character I’m gonna scream, cry and soil myself.

He could be seen in the corner, off Starbuck’s shoulder, talking to another extra. I don’t think we were meant to necessarily see it as anything other than an easter egg cameo.

I just did a rewatch, and I think you’re right… he was there in the last shot of the sequence, behind Starbuck, to the left. It sure looks like Bear, anyway.

Actually, I think we just got our first (blurry) look at Daniel! (if Daniel is Kara’s piano-playing Dad in the Troof clue, that is) As Radio Picon said, nobody appears to hear him except her, which kinda fits with next week’s promo… and what’s cooler, I did a slow mo on my DVR, and you can see at one point he looks directly at her.

Bear’s blog has a still with a big red circle around a blurry him behind Starbuck, which I thought was pretty amusing.

Nice. Are we going to see David Eick and Ronald D. Moore show up in the finale? I could imagine them running the “colony” that John Cavil referenced.

…maybe the title of this thread has too much spoiler? Lots of people don’t watch the previews for a reason…

While I understand your avoidance, rod, when the title is asking for predictions I would assume some things spoilery will be included.

I tell you, it’s going to be a three hour episode of Katee “playing” the “piano.”

Just did a rewatch also. I totally agree.
