the roles stay the same, but the players change, so hair color is irrelevant. I tried out this idea in a thread which went dead immediately when Ellen showed up. But the players do have to show up to start the Cycle anew, don’t they?

well baltar and head six threw whether or not she was a natural blonde into question way back in season 1… that was when boxey was still around.
I see where you’re going and I totally agree that race and stuff doesn’t make a difference. However, we do have some indication that a single soul wouldn’t inhabit two bodies at once. Kara didn’t die until well after Hera was born. I’m not with you for that reasoning.
Why do you think that, though? There are definitely important parallels.
Well, If we believe that Kara’s dad is Daniel, then she is the first hybred. NOT Hera. And, Kata being the “harbinger of Death” would be , the Death of the "true cylon’ way of life.
Kara = Hera but is not Hera.
