As I think I’ve mentioned elsewhere, I sometimes quote Star Wars or Star Trek or some other sci-fi related goodness in everyday conversation. Some people get it, others don’t. So, I’m not really sure how to handle this thread, make it a game or a story or what.

The best I can come up with is relate it to BSG somehow. For example, while watching ‘The Ties That Bind’ I kept thinking: I’ve got a bad feeling about this. While watching this past episode ‘Escape Velocity’ when Six picks up Baltar I thought: Feel the Force flowing through you.

So quote away. If you have any other ideas, feel free.

this isn’t really a quote, and i realize it’s very cliche, but i often wave my hand like a Jedi when walking through automatic doors.

Me and my husband use the “I love you,”/“I know” line all the time.

When I turn off my car at night, I pretend I’m going through a systems check/rundown of my vipor…instead of handing the launch keys over to one of the deck gang I put them in a special basket…

I started doing that to get the doors to open so I didn’t have to wait on them…then it just kinda evolved in a Jedi thing.

I used the old Yoda stand by just the other day to a friend of mine who said she’d “try”.

“Do or do not. There is no try.”

One thing we do a lot, is if anyone ever says “I’ll be careful” the automatic response is
“You’ll Be DEAD”

When the Demetrius eventually returns to the fleet Lee will greet Starbuck thusly:

“You came in that thing? You’re braver than I thought!”

And when Baltar asked Roslin whether she was threatening him last episode her reply should have been:

“Perhaps you think you’re being treated…unfairly?”
