All I can say is SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
Who wants to go see it with me in Auburn Hills?!?!?!
No Orlando
And the times they’re in Florida are around when I’m closing on my house anyways. :(
They have Boston, but 32-76 bucks?!! breathes in through teeth
yeah it’s a little steep…but, how often does this happen?
Only when many of us can’t afford it?
I’m looking to go to the Dallas one with some friends of mine, and Fan Days in Plano that weekend So excited.
I’m actually pretty ticked. No midwest at all. BOO ON THAT.
Michigan is the midwest, so is Ohio…
Saw it today, it was awesome. There is a collection of replicas and props from the movies that is on display too, nice touch. The 501st had some of its troops on site (thanks guys it was nice to see you there!!!).
The music was wonderful and not just a simple rehash of soundtrack excerpts, they blended some of the themes and tracks together and extended some as well, and added wonderful flourishes and touches. So if you are a music buff like I am you will not be bored.
Nice stage show too, smoke, flames, lasers and graphics accompany the music and video clips. And Anthony Daniels was a total pip as the narrator, nice vest there Anthony!
Seeing so many fans of all ages (many in costume:)) did my heart good as well, and I got to meet someone from another forum for the first time there. It was a wonderful experiance…
just got my tix for charlotte NC. hopeing to get points for “taking her to the Symphony”… maybe, it’'ll work.
Any time an orchestra needs to fundraise.
They’re coming to Baltimore soon. Alas, I can’t afford to go, and even if I could, I’m absolutely swamped.
I am going to the Tampa concert!!! Got floor tickets 9 rows back just off to the right!! YEEEHAAWW. Super happy jason.
We really enjoyed ourselves at our AZ concert this past weekend.
I just got home from taking the family to see it in San Jose. It was great!! ! My inner nerd was alive and kicking to the point I had chills at times! One of my favorite montages had to be to the “Duel of the Fates.” The orchestra and choir were so on the spot, I just found myself immersed in the SW universe!!
Anthony Daniels was a great as the MC, there was some technical difficulties with his headset at one point and his recovery was flawless.
It was well worth the coin.
If it comes to or around your area, and are a SW fan it is a MUST SEE!!!
So i got to see the show yesterday. Oh my god it was amazing. I got teary eyed when i they started and it kept on coming the entire time. It was so awesome to see and hear little kids get so excited about the music. Also it was really fun when the little girl, probably 6 or so was giddy when she saw Chewbaca on screen. She was saying over and over again “Look mom its Chewie, Mom its Chewie!”
Anthony Daniels was perfectly eloquent and funny. He was the perfect host. It did help that i had near perfect seats. I was 9 rows back from the stage and just slightly off center. When the flame pots went off i could feel the heat.
But what put if over the top of awesomeness was the display that tours along with the show. It was so cool to see the costumes and props. But i think the highlight of the night was getting to take a picture with a working R2-D2. He has always been one of my favorite characters. It was awesome while waiting to take a picture with R2 seeing people walk by hearing the beeps and watching their faces light up.
Oh what a wonderful day. If anyone has the opportunity to see the show i cannot recommend it enough. Go see the show
How early should we get there tonite ( going to the one in charlotte) in order to see the props and stuff out front?
