Star Wars Exhibit in Chicago

I went to the Star Wars Exhibit at the Museum of Science and Industry Saturday morning with a couple of friends. I uploaded my pictures to my Photobucket page. Thought that some of you would like to see them but didn’t want to open another account on Flickr or duplicate Sean’s pictures in the group there. So here’s the link to my pictures:

Oh yeah…they put the pictures up in reverse order too! Frak it all!

Great pix! Though I’m happy to see them on Photobucket, if you add them to the pool on Flickr, they’ll show up on the main website. The good news: they won’t replace Sean’s – just add to 'em!

What’d you think of the show as a whole? Did you have a good time?

Gryper, get them up on Flickr!

It don’t cost nothing </Bluto>

Nice. I’m always miming the bottle-to-head bit (with appropriate “csssh” sound) to cheer people up, but they never get it.

Thanks! I will upload them to Flickr tonight. Didn’t want to step on anyone’s toes since some were already there.

The show overall was great. Loved how it was all spaced out so that you weren’t falling over everyone else to try to get pictures. The interactive stuff was cool and the kids there were all over that.

One of my friends (the doink in the photo of my friends hamming it up) beat me to the end of the exhibit and turned and asked “That’s it?!” I thought the exhibit had more items on display than I expected it to.

Oh and I want some of those lightsaber lights they had hanging near the exit! That would be so cool for a home theater room!

I will Pike, soon as I get home from work this evening.

I saw this exhibit last year in Boston with my son. WAY COOL! It was so crowded we didn’t get to do many of the science activities. What I really enjoyed were all the props and art on the world building for the films. It’s amazing how they took aspects of our planet and reimagined them into new worlds. My only disappointment was in Padame’s costume. Of all the beautiful gowns she wore, I saw a dull tunic from The Phantom Mence.

If there is anyway you can get to see this exhibit- go, it’s so worth it and fun. The gift shop is pretty cool too.

There’s no such thing as too many Star Wars pix! Load em up, you rock sir!!

Ok, I’ve loaded them up to the pool. Wow…just when I think I’m getting used to being called “Ma’am” you switch it up and call me “Sir”!

I’m so confused!
