Stopped all shipping?

Fearless Jedi Knights. Mail Police.

Everything looks so crisp and clean compared to Episode IV and V.

Kaboom!

Note to self. Never park under a large gun.

So on the Blu-Ray, the Neimoidians eyes blink.

“Negotiations were short.”

Oh. You’re a wicked one, Obi-wan.

My wife is doing her Neimoidian impression. She sounds like a cross between Barbara Walters and Pat Morita.

“They’ll revoke their trade license.”

yawn

Enter Jar Jar.

I remember seeing this for the first time. There was a girl that worked for the theatre wearing a Jar Jar mask. She said Jar Jar was her favorite character.

I wonder if she regrets that now.

TBH, Jar Jar doesn’t bother me. The plots and most of the dialogue in the Prequels bothers me more.

You know what’s amazing? The only things real in these Gungan scenes are Ewan and Liam. Everything else is CGI.

“You will find controlling her will not be difficult.”

Him don’t know Padme very well. Do he?

Qui-gon just did the Vulcan Neck pinch! Hmmmm. First cross-over. I wonder if JJ will bring that back in Episode VII.

“We’re ambassadors for the Supreme Chancellor.”

Ambassadors with laser swords and Jedi mind powers. Yep. That’s fair.

My wife and I are discussing the Jedi robes.

She likes them and thinks they look bad ass. I explained that they used Obi-wan from Episode IV as the template. Jedi were originally supposed to wear all black like Luke in Episode VI. I liked Luke’s outfit in VI. But I said, “The Jedi look like Samurai with their robes. Samurai was the original design for the Jedi Knight.”

“You’re a Gungan. Aren’t you?”

And you’re a rocket scientist.

“Are you an angel?”

And so it begins. The groans that is.

“What you think your some kind of Jedi waving your hand around like that?”

So, when Jedi tricks don’t work Qui-gon gets angry. Look at how he stormed off.

I’m not a fan of Artoo and Threepio in the Prequels.

I know I’m in the minority. It feels like a distraction and forced (excuse the poor pun) instead of a link between trilogies.
