I’ll probably see it Sunday or wait until next weekend. If whatshername liked the movie then that is good enough for me.
I did enjoy it. It’s a different kind of Star Wars than all the other movies but it was just as entertaining for me. The battles were really awesome, they were the big all out battles that were sorely lacking in Episode II and III. Geonosis and the Battle of Coruscant gave us a small glimpse of what the Clone Wars were like and in The Clone Wars the Battle of Teth and the Battle of Christophsis showed us what the Clone Wars were really like. The Clones also get a lot of personality (I love Captain Rex) that the small glimpse of Commander Cody in ROTS didn’t give us so it looks like we are going to get to see the relationship between the Clones and the Jedi. It’s got all the stuff I wanted to see of the Clone Wars in the movies and didn’t get so I can overlook the faults.
I also highly recommend the novelization by Traviss as it takes the same storyline of the movie and makes it the adult version of the story.
I’m going to go see it again in the morning and I’m hoping to get to take my little brother to see it sometime soon.
Took the kids to see the movie today - they couldn’t wait!! They really loved it. I had very low expectations due to the reviews I saw on rotten tomatoes and so I was pleasantly surprised. Best movie ever, no, but I couldn’t see what was so bad about it. Maybe a bit more geared to kids but I enjoyed learning more about the Star Wars world and seeing more of the clones, and I liked the animation style as well.

hehehe Totally their idea to wear the helmets, their dad’s idea to take the picture. I told them I’d put it up on the GWC flickr page. 
They wore them right into the theater - I think their older brother was a bit embarrassed.
