“She seemed very sure that she was doing the right thing.
I think her only regret was that she let you down.”
And here we are!
I can’t believe we’re almost through with TNG
Ensign Ro! I mean, Lieutenant
Can not believe it. The penultimate episode before the finale!
Aw, Picard in mentor mode
“You look very fit”
Sexual harassment Picard!! How dare you say that to her.
“So, where are your new quarters?”
“Deck 4, Section 8.”
I love how Deanna nods, like it makes a difference.
“Oh, that’s a nice deck. Exactly like twelve others.”
I’m guessing that none of you watch the AMC series The Killing but Michelle Forbe’s acting in that is fantastic. Surpasses her Admiral Cain performance.
She plays the mother of teenager who’s murder is the central plot of the series.
Hmmm Patrick Stewart directed this one
If it’s the one before the finale isn’t in the penultimate?
Lies! Vicious lies! I never said that!
oh, Cardassians. You love your military, don’t you? Too bad their solutions are generally bloody.
When your only tool is a hammer, every problem looks like a nail.
“They’re extremely fattening.”
What’s she trying to say? Sexual harassment!
I don’t care what anyone says. I like Admiral Nechayev. She owns the Admiral role.
Not a douchebag. Just a superior person.
So much sexual harassment in this episode. Disgraceful.

[li]The lieutenant commander whom Ro Laren refers to as her instructor at Starfleet Advanced Tactical Training in 2369/2370 who joined the Maquis was intended by the producers as a reference to Chakotay of Star Trek: Voyager (Star Trek: The Next Generation Companion). This suggestion is included in Ro’s biography at StarTrek.com. That intention was contradicted in VOY: “In the Flesh”, where Chakotay stated that he resigned his commission on March 3, 2368.[/li][/ul]
Warning! When her only reason to take the mission is to “validate your faith” in her, well, other issues may take precedence. Just saying.
And the otherwise strong female character still requires validation from the patriach. Ah, well. Baby steps.
Picard: “Lt. Ro, I have a job for you.”
Lt. Ro “Anything sir.”
Picard: “I want you to kill Commander Adama”
