I love this episode.
I need to remember it before I can concur
Those torches are a lot more than 20% brighter.
Silly future folk, just standing in front of a train.
Hmm…If memory serves I did not like this episode. …the whole Train thing…got a bit silly.
We’ll see how it feels in rewatching
It was definitely a bottle show, with all the ludicrous costumes, instead of special effects. TBH, a lot of those tend to be my favorites.
No power for a week? Since when? They’ve done core shutdowns before, haven’t they?
Yeah, I think so.
My favorite are the brainy, issue oriented ones.
“What is that?”
Krazy Straws?
This is one of those too, IMO.
Philosophical issues of discovering a truly new lifeform, the psychology of symbolism, even another example of Trek’s possibly unintentional obsession with bad parenting…
“Mr. Worf, I told you to bring our tickets!”
Sure, throw the Klingon under the bus.
Fuses. Seriously.
It’s amazing how simple technology gets lost over time.
Hey, look in the DS9 thread. Remember I was sure that Cal Hudson was in a Star Trek novel at some point? I was right.
Okay, the episode is getting kinda cool…emergent brain.
You really don’t remember this one?
I remember the train and so forth, but not the plot so well
“Why don’t you go with him, Worf?”
Sure, I’ll just go off and do a bunch of backbreaking labor while you chat.
The first chance I can get off this ship, I swear…
Did the Enterprise just have a baby?
