Star Trek: The Next Generation 6x07 Rascals

So basically you and me as kids would have extreme intel to use to defeat the intruders. Bring it on, bad guys!

He’s had his share of meltdowns, but yeah, he’s a great kid.

When they said Jeffrey’s Tube just now I squirmed in my chair a bit :o

Why? Does the idea of children crawling through Jeffrey’s Tube make you feel uncomfortable?

Hive mind :eyebrow:

To boldly go where no man has gone before!

I’m assuming…

Having a baby pass thru my genitals ?..that’s. …Oh.

No, I mean yes. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.

Great, now I’m imagining a Senfield - Trek mashup!

I’m guessing that Stewart had less screen time in this ep than any other

La Forge has hand… and he’s gonna need it!

The Borg Queen’s breasts are real, and they’re spectacular.

Picard’s heart is stabworthy.

Tasha Yar has man-hands.

He was probably off doing some Shakespeare in a park.

[li]Ronald D. Moore commented: “When Michael bought the premise I thought he was completely insane: An Away Team rematerializes on the transporter as children — with adult minds! I tried again and again to bury this idea, which of course meant that I would get saddled with the inevitable rewrite when the script came in. I just thought it was a ludicrous idea and wanted nothing to do with it. That said, once I got the assignment, the professional writer in me had to commit to the material and do the best with it that I could, so I tried very hard to bring humor and humanity to the proceedings, chiefly through the Guinan/Ro story that I did end up liking in the end. I still cringe when I think of the episode (the Ferengi capture the Enterprise in a couple of broken down Birds of Prey???) but many people have told me how much they like it.” (AOL chat, 1997)

LMsBO !

Star Fleet Admiral Steinbrenner

That’s totally in keeping with RDM’s frequent mention on his BSG podcasts regarding TV episodes with kids in em. He always said “best not to give kids any major dialog or things to do.” with that in mind I can see how he would have been morified at this story idea.

That’s only because children don’t know what a bi-lateral kellilactrial is. Stupid kids.

Stupid Humon Kids, Trix are for Ferengi!
